Last weekend, I had the wonderful opportunity of attending a Boudoir Photography Workshop hosted by the amazingly talented Last Forty Percent Photography. I truly learned from Ewan and Brianna Phelan, the best in the business! During this two-day workshop in London, Ontario, I learned about business aspects, posing, and a million other things that made me fall in love with this style of photography. Expect to see more of this type of work in the future from me…I’ve officially been bitten by the Boudoir Bug! Haha! For now, here...

Whether it’s white chocolate brownies, dark chocolate brownies, brownies with walnuts, or brownies with fudge…whatever the variety, I love them all. So, needless to say, I got excited when we made some at home. The smell of the baking lingered in the house for hours….HEAVEN, I tell you. Cheers to brownie goodness! ...
read moreWork. Work. Work. All work and no play can make for a dull person. Seriously, I know this firsthand. Because I could mentally and physically feel that dreaded feeling of being in a rut taking over me, my husband (still getting used to this title! Haha!) suggested we go for a 10km walk in the trails that the city of Cambridge, ON has to offer. It was great to get away from the computers and cell phones. Being unplugged felt good. I brought my camera along for the adventure, and it was so relaxing to take photos of nature in its element....
read moreWow…the last few months have been hectic, exhilarating, exciting, and FUN to say the least! I know full well that I have been missing in action when it comes to updating my website and being active on my Facebook page…but it’s with good reason! Honestly! Haha! As much as I tried to blog about my photo-shoots, my mini summer excursions, or whatever was happening in-between, wedding planning conquered all my free time. And by wedding planning, I’m referring to my own! I’m back from Honeymooning in Jamaica...
read moreAlright, so I’m about a week behind on posting this…but I’ve been pretty motivated and inspired after our recent workshop! I became so wrapped up in taking photos and editing previous photos I had on hand, versus actually blogging about the event right away. Oops. Editing photos can be a time-warp, I swear! Our recent workshop was a blast! It was so refreshing and exciting to connect with people who LOVE photography. Here’s what one of our workshop attendees named Wendy (a wedding photographer herself) had to say...
read moreI am very excited to share some wonderful news! The planning of this event has been in the works for some time, but it’s finally here and ready to get underway! I’m teaming up with the one and only Slava Micic to host a full day Photoshop Workshop in London, Ontario. I met Slava back in 2003 at University (please do not do the math! Haha!), and over the years, our mutual appreciation for photography, the arts, and creativity has kept our friendship blossoming. I cannot wait to help her host this Workshop as she is...
read moreThey say good things come to those that wait. And, I must say – I agree with that statement! I waited, and waited, and waited some more when it came to redeeming my continuous accumulation of Air Miles. I figured I’d save them up for a trip at some point, or a crazy kitchen appliance that I would never end up using – or maybe redeem them for an endless amount of movie tickets. Instead, I just kept holding on to them, month after month, year after year. As my business has grown this past year, I realized that I needed...
read moreThings have been pretty hectic as of late. I like it that way, don’t get me wrong, but a girl needs her sleep – and by ‘girl’, I specifically mean me in this case. This weekend, I made sure to sleep in till noon (yay!) on Saturday. After waking up and looking at the clock with a big fat smile, I took it upon myself to make one of my favorite meals to eat – chocolate chip pancakes! What’s better than pancakes annnnd chocolate at 1pm in the...
read moreLate August, I attended the 2nd Annual Subtext Multi-Arts Festival in Scarborough’s vibrant Kingston-Galloway Orton Park neighbourhood. The festival is held under a six-lane traffic bridge and does a great job of engaging members of the community and artists through the celebration of contemporary urban art forms. It was really inspiring to see organically talented people do their thing so naturally. The urban space was transformed into a community amphitheatre that featured live music, dance performances, storytelling, and art...

The occasion was lovely from beginning to end – with a beeeautiful outdoor ceremony in the middle of a flower garden situated in downtown London, Ontario. It was a fusion wedding, and it was spectacular…much like how the bride looked! Thank you, Mani, for sharing a huge milestone of your life with me and your fellow guests. You were beyond gorgeous that day (but, really, how is...
